I think you’ve got the wrong guy, Billy.
You can kind of tell that Billy’s been mentoring Jeffy, and he looks pleased with his pupil’s progress.
(2 new comic series on the way!)
(Probably will try to make this page look less generic! Probably many tries!)
(and Dr. Woods still!)
(It turns out if I don’t keep myself busy my mind turns on me and the darkness surrounds!)
I’ve been doing my best to balance my about-to-graduate-college life with my attempt to be a good Tumblr-er, but I’m afraid my skill-level as a bl0gger is still only scarcely above that of moms who type ‘www.facebook.com’ into Google.
I’ll post a bunch more Dr. Woods soon, since they are all already drawn and sitting on my hard drive. For the record, Dr. Woods is a comic I’ve done for the Providence College newspaper, The Cowl, for about a year or so.
I’m working on a new comic series, so stay tuned for that. It will probably launch soon after I graduate and appear here as well as www.busklit.org, the online literary journal my roommates and I have just started. I’m also gonna do my best to start posting other fun stuff I make, like sketches of strangers and
you when you’re sleeping stuff.
I don’t even know how to make this font different.
The deep parts of the ocean we haven’t seen yet where the dinosaurs and stuff are.
I’m done putting these in chronological order, mainly because it is not fun, and it is hard enough for me to be motivated to post all these old comics up. I’m focusing my energy on a new series I am starting, so stay tuned for that.
Also, my roommates and I just started an online literary journal called Busk, which you can check out at www.busklit.org. If you write fiction, nonfiction/essays, poetry or make mixed media art, submit your work to us!
It will likely be the home of my new comic once that is ready, too.
2-18-10. LOOK at that title card! Wow! What a title card! Thanks Liam!!!
This mountain of treasure I’m sitting on is getting too high and starting to squeeze me against the ceiling, so I’m going to throw a bunch more of these D-Woodsz up.
I’m starting a new comic.
Yeah that’d be sweet! I am ignorant in these matters. I think what I have now looks decent but I’m open to any suggestions.
How’s that title card working out for your eyes? Too good? Probably too good. Well if you think it’s great now, buckle up, because my buddy Liam recently offered to run it through some illustrator software for me to see if he mightn’t be able to spruce it up a jig. Thanks Liam! It pays to have a couple of people around you haven’t alienated entirely =]
I want to find a cleaner/cooler-looking way to integrate the handwritten title card. So far my technological process involves moving rectangles around in MS Paint. I’d love if I could just make it a header that stays at the top of my page or something somehow.
Anyone have any suggestions? … Can suggestions even be made to me on Tumblr? … They can’t, can they …
I do not know how to use Tumblr.
